Conn. lawmakers seek $16M extension for free K-12 meals

Connecticut lawmakers Rep. Moira Rader and Sen. Ceci Maher plan to introduce a bill allocating $16 million to extend the free K-12 meal program through June 2025. The initiative, initially funded with federal COVID-19 relief, aims to provide nutritious meals for over 177,000 students.
