St. Tammany Parish Public Schools officials are facing challenges providing free meals to all students due to rising food and labor costs, coupled with reduced federal pandemic relief funds. Despite offering free breakfast and lunch to all students through the Community Eligibility Provision, the reimbursements have not kept pace with increased meal costs.
