Minn. committee advances universal school meals bill

All students in Minnesota would be eligible for free access to school breakfasts and lunches under legislation that advanced out of a state House committee Wednesday. Data from the nonprofit Hunger Solutions Minnesota shows that 25% of students who are food insecure are not eligible for free school meals.
