USDA’s FNS launched the first phase of its $100 million Healthy Meals Incentives Initiative aimed at improving the nutritional quality of school meals through food systems transformation, school food authority recognition, technical assistance and grants. Starting school year 2023-24, FNS will provide recognition awards and share best practices of SFAs that have made significant improvements to the nutritional quality of their meals. Learn More
