Students at two high schools in South Carolina's Kershaw County School District are working in the cafeteria -- for the same wages as a typical employee -- as the district works to hire more school nutrition professionals. Misha Lawyer, coordinator for nutrition services, said students came to her wanting to help in cafeterias, which is a win-win for students and the district.
