Nonprofit, District Team Up To Offer Books With School Meals

Promising Pages recognized that school closures would leave many children in the Charlotte, N.C., area without access to books. The nonprofit partnered with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools to distribute donated books alongside meals and has started a social media campaign encouraging people to donate reading materials.
