Blood test shows promise for children with peanut allergies

A study published in Allergy found that changes in antibody levels over time can predict which children are likely to outgrow their peanut allergy, adding that decreasing sIgG4 and sIgE levels in blood was associated with peanut allergy resolution by the age of 10. Findings were based on 156 infants with challenge-confirmed peanut allergy.
