RD says honeydew melon is nutritionally worthy

Honeydew melon is worthy of incorporating into your diet, says registered dietitian Miranda Galati, noting that this melon is provides potassium and fiber and is hydrating. "While honeydew contains naturally occurring sugars, most emerging research suggests its fiber and fluid content might lower the risk of Type 2 diabetes," Galati says, adding to look for a pale, creamy colored exterior when shopping for a honeydew melon since those with a greenish hue are not ripe yet.
