CDC recalls carrots after deadly E. coli outbreak

The CDC has announced a recall of carrots and baby carrots sold under brands including Nature's Promise, Wegmans and Trader Joe's due to an E. coli outbreak that has resulted in one death and 15 hospitalizations across 18 states. The outbreak is linked to organic carrots from Grimmway Farms. Consumers are advised to discard the products and monitor for symptoms of E. coli infection.
