N.H. to rollout herb gardens, hydroponic farms in schools
October 3, 2024
New Hampshire schools -- especially those in districts that participate in the National School Lunch Program -- will receive 1,200 mini herb gardens and over a dozen hydroponic farms to introduce students to growing fresh food. Funded by $12,000 in federal pandemic relief money, these hands-on tools aim to enhance food service programs and teach about agriculture.
