US Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., has introduced a bill to provide free breakfast, lunch and dinner to all students across New York state, regardless of family income. The Universal School Meals Program Act aims to reduce stigma, expand summer meal access and eliminate school meal debt.
