Nuestro Mundo Community School in Wisconsin's Madison Metropolitan School District has launched a scratch-cooking pilot program, offering fresh, locally sourced meals that have increased student participation and reduced food waste. The school is the first in the district to trial the program, which aims to improve the quality of school meals and set a new standard across the district.
