Utah bills aim to tackle student hunger with free meals

Utah lawmakers are addressing student hunger with two bills that would make free meals more accessible in public schools. Rep. Tyler Clancy's bill would provide free breakfast and lunch for all qualifying students, replacing the reduced-price option, and extend meal benefits over the summer. Senator Minority Leader Luz Escamilla's bill, which seeks to offer free meals to all students, was put on hold by the Senate Education Committee last week. Full Story:
