Maine District Overcomes Supply Chain Challenges

Some school districts in Maine are overcoming supply chain issues by sourcing more products locally for school meals. Windham Raymond School District RSU14 is increasing its reliance on local items such as tomatoes, which school nutrition professional Ryan Roderick said staff will puree and freeze to be used for as long as possible to replace canned crushed tomatoes in some dishes.
