Farmers are predicting a bumper peach season and registered dietitian Miranda Galati says the fruit is a good source of fiber, polyphenols, carotenoids, vitamins A and C, and hydrating fluid. As with most fruits, Galati suggests pairing peaches with a healthful protein or fat to increase satiety and nutrition, saying "fruit sometimes contains fat-soluble nutrients like vitamin A, D, E and K, which are better absorbed when eaten with a fat source."
