2 Del. laws related to school meals advance

A measure in the Delaware Legislature that appropriates around $250,000 per year to provide free breakfasts and lunches to students who qualify for reduced-priced meals has passed in the House of Representatives and been forwarded to the Senate. In addition, the state Senate recently passed a bill that prohibits keeping students from participating in extracurricular activities because of meal debt that is awaiting the governor's signature.
