The US Supreme Court has declined to hear an appeal from parents challenging guidance by the Eau Claire Area School District, in Wisconsin, regarding the support of transgender students. The parents argued that the policy runs afoul of parental rights and religious freedom, but lower courts -- including a unanimous panel of the US Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit -- ruled that no parent showed evidence of the guidance affecting them or their children.
