N.M. lawmakers consider "Kids Kitchen" initiative

Lawmakers in New Mexico are considering legislation that would expand access to free school meals to all public-school students in the state. The proposal, called "Kids Kitchen," also would encourage schools to purchase locally produced food, invest in school kitchens, and require that students have at least 20 minutes to sit and eat lunch.
