An update from SNA about our fellow school food service workers affected by Hurricane Katrina:

We have been receiving e-mails constantly about our concern for our members in LA. We are being told that most of our members only got out with the clothes on their backs.

I know you have concerns and want to know how to help. The School Nutrition Association and the Child Nutrition Foundation have setup a Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund with SunTrust Bank. Many members of the SNA have already generously pledged their support and can now contribute to a relief fund established by SNA.

SNA's Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund will funnel all donations to our affected state affiliate associations to assist school nutrition professionals who have been impacted by this terrible disaster.
